Northern Peru, October 2014

I visited several locations in the San Martin Region, northern Peru, in October 2014, with Derb Carter, Merrill Lynch, and Chris Wilson, and guided by Henry Gonzales Pinedo. We were looking for birds, especially endemic species, and most especially several endemics with extremely restricted ranges. We were successful in finding most of the ones we sought. The photos in these pages were mostly taken on the run while birding and thus are not of the best quality. They are what they are, my visual record of the trip. Perhaps you will enjoy some of them.
